About the event
Session Description:
This safe and supportive session is designed for mothers, caregivers, and families navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy, NICU experiences, and postpartum life. Participants will explore the realities of maternal mental health, especially within Black communities, while gaining practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.
Participants will:
Understand the impact of maternal mental health disparities during pregnancy and postpartum
Identify signs of stress, burnout, anxiety, and postpartum depression
Learn grounding and coping strategies to support emotional wellbeing
